Posted on 21 November, 2025

Four members of the UM team attended the annual EEMUA dinner, which this year marked 75 years of driving engineering excellence and industry good practice.

The event, held at the Cottons Hotel in Knutsford, Cheshire, brought together representatives of member and associate companies of the EEMUA (Engineering Equipment and Materials Users Association) from across the UK and further afield.

Attending on behalf of UM were Phil McEvoy, Group Terminals Director, Charlie McEvoy, NDT Technician, Barry Lawton, EC&I Lead, and Liam Crowley, who has recently been promoted to the role of Inspections Manager of United Inspections.

United Inspections is a new arm of UM Terminals offering a comprehensive range of high-quality Asset Inspection Services.

This exciting development follows the strong performance of our own internal asset inspections at UM Terminals’ facilities and a successful proof of concept for third party inspections.

Liam said: “The dinner provided a great opportunity to network and tell people a little bit about the services United Inspections can offer.

“The EEMUA does such a good job representing our industry and it was a special evening because we were celebrating 75 years of the association making a difference.”
